Cultural Heritage
“I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the cultures of all the lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any.”
- Mahatma Gandhi

Cultural Heritage

Mahatma Gandhi Mission has pioneered in propagating and promoting our cultural heritage in the region of Marathwada through many projects and by setting up organizations like MAHAGAMI and Khadi and Paithani center.

Mahagami

Indian Cultural Heritage is the spine of our cultural existence. Having realized the importance of our time-honored Guru-shishya tradition and the rich and diverse Indian arts, MAHAGAMI was set up as a dance-gurukul in Aurangabad that is known today as one of the premiere arts-organisations in the world. With regular training in Kathak and Odissi dance forms, MAHAGAMI also hosts many festivals, concerts, workshops, seminars, etc that include many Indian art forms in its folds. Residential Gurukul camp named SADHANA is organized every summer for art-seekers to promote the ancient Gurukul system of learning and lifestyle. www.mahagami.org
